The Board of the Curaçao Jazz Foundation

The board of the foundation consists of 7 members who, despite the fact that they all have their own full time job, spend many hours organizing the regular events. There is a steady group of music loving volunteers who give a helping hand at all the many activities that need to be coordinated to realize the events.

Our Goals
The Curaçao Jazz Foundation is a non-profit organization and for that reason depends on funds obtained by sponsors and the cooperation of the government. Besides staging musical events, of which the annual CURACAO JAZZ FESTIVAL as of 1988 is one, it's aim is to popularize jazz amongst musicians and the general audience. For that reason workshops are also being given whenever the possibility presents and youth concerts, in order to promote the music among potential jazz musicians and young music lovers.
